Paired with PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 512MB of RAM, it delivers smooth performance for basic tasks and moderate multitasking. However, as technology has advanced since 2011, the device may struggle with more demanding applications or the multitasking needs of today’s users. The Nexus S shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, presenting an unaltered Android experience free from manufacturer-specific modifications.
