Display
At the forefront of its design is a 2.8-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, capable of displaying 256K colors. However, the effective color output is limited to 65K, impacting the vibrancy and depth of the display. With a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, the i710 provided a density of approximately 143 ppi, which, while modest by modern standards, was adequate during its era. The screen-to-body ratio stands at approximately 38.5%, implying significant bezels, which were typical in the industry at the time. Additional features such as handwriting recognition highlighted its focus on functionality.
