Performance and Software

Under the hood, the phone was powered by a Qualcomm MSM8930AB Snapdragon 400 chipset with a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 CPU and an Adreno 305 GPU. While not groundbreaking, this hardware offered smooth performance for day-to-day tasks and entry-level gaming at the time. Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, it was later upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, ensuring support for a wider range of apps and improved performance. The inclusion of 1.5 GB RAM was more than enough for moderate multitasking in 2013, although it would be considered low by modern standards. An internal storage of 8GB was quite limited, but the presence of a dedicated microSDXC slot allowed for additional storage up to 64GB.
