Performance
Under the hood, the Captivate Glide is powered by a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor on an Nvidia Tegra 2 AP20H chipset, paired with a ULP GeForce GPU. While this hardware was adequate for moderate multitasking and gaming at launch, it quickly became outpaced by newer technologies in the successive years. The phone originally shipped with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) but was upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), providing users with some newer software features and optimizations. With 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, alongside a microSDHC slot, the device offered reasonable flexibility for storage expansion, allowing users to store more media and applications.
