Under the hood, the Galaxy S3 Neo is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 chipset and a quad-core 1.2 or 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, paired with an Adreno 305 GPU. Initially running Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), it is upgradable to Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), bringing some improvements in performance and interface. With 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the device is capable of handling everyday tasks smoothly, though it may struggle with more demanding applications. Fortunately, the dedicated microSDXC slot allows for storage expansion, which helps accommodate multimedia files and apps.
