Networking and Connectivity
Operating on GSM 900/1800/1900 networks, the V100 provided decent global coverage for its day, although it lacked advanced data capabilities, as evidenced by the absence of EDGE and the presence of only GPRS Class 8 for mobile internet. Connectivity options were limited; there was no Bluetooth or USB support, but it did feature an infrared port, a common data-transfer method in the pre-Bluetooth era.
