Samsung X140 Features and Functionality

Features and Functionality

While the Samsung X140 lacks many modern-day features, it was equipped with some essential tools for its time. Connectivity wise, it supports 2G GSM bands at 900/1800 and provides GPRS Class 10 for basic internet browsing through the WAP 1.2.1 browser. Although it does not support EDGE, WLAN, or Bluetooth, the X140 focuses heavily on core telecommunication functionalities.

The lack of a camera and Bluetooth might be seen as limitations now, but for the period, this was a viable trade-off for its affordable pricing and reliability in voice communication. The four-way navigation keys on the keypad allow for simple, intuitive navigation that works well with the phone’s operating system.
