Connectivity options included GSM and UMTS technology, promising speeds of up to 384 kbps. Its proprietary USB meant connectivity with computers required specific cables, and although it lacked modern-day essential features like WLAN and GPS, it did offer infrared support, which was still prevalent for data transfer at the time. The phone supported basic messaging services like SMS, MMS, and Email and had a basic WAP 2.0/xHTML browser for internet access, provided the availability of mobile data services.
