The GX1 features a GFC display that supports 65K colors, which was relatively advanced for its time, considering that color displays were just starting to replace monochrome screens. With a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio, the display was adequate for the basic functions of the phone, such as messaging and playing simple games. However, the clarity and vibrancy we expect from modern smartphones were lacking in this early technology.
