Sharp GX20 Connectivity

Connectivity

Connectivity on the Sharp GX20 was quite limited, reflecting the capabilities of mobile technology in 2003. It operated on GSM networks across the 900, 1800, and 1900 bands, supporting GPRS Class 8 for data. With no EDGE, WLAN, or Bluetooth, connectivity was primarily focused on basic internet browsing via WAP 2.0/xHTML and text messaging services such as SMS, EMS, and MMS. However, it did include an infrared port, which offered a basic method of transferring data between compatible devices.
