Design and Build
At first glance, the Sharp TM200’s design is a reflection of the early 2000s aesthetic trends – compact and sturdy. The phone’s dimensions, 96 x 49 x 27 mm, coupled with a weight of 120 grams, render it quite manageable and portable. Despite its small size relative to today’s phones, it features a Mini-SIM accessibility, common during its time. The 2.2-inch primary TFT display with 256K colors at a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels provides a decent viewing experience for basic navigation and entertainment, though it occupies a modest screen-to-body ratio of 31.9%. An additional external TFT display adds a neat touch for quick access to key information without flipping open the phone, showcasing its utility-focused design.
