The Siemens A57 was stripped down to essentials, with no external memory card slot, limiting users to a phonebook capacity of 50 entries and further organizing contacts into four groups with picture call functionality. It also stored up to 25 short messages, supported by a basic call log that recorded the last 10 dialed, received, and missed calls each.
