Designed primarily for communication, the Siemens A70 supported GSM technology, operating on GSM 900, 1800, and 1900 bands, with an additional GSM 850 capability for the US version. However, it lacked GPRS or EDGE capabilities, reflecting its focus on voice over data connectivity. This phone did not include modern connectivity options such as Bluetooth, WLAN, or USB, keeping it dedicated to fundamental phone operations.
