Siemens C45 Features and Functionality

Features and Functionality

With no provision for a memory card slot, the Siemens C45 relies on internal storage capacities, supporting a phonebook with up to 50 entries and logs for 10 dialed, 10 received, and 10 missed calls. The device does not include a camera, multimedia functions, or a loudspeaker; instead, users could select alert types from vibration and downloadable monophonic ringtones. The absence of features such as a 3.5mm jack and a radio limits entertainment options, although three pre-installed games—Stack Attack, Balloon Shooter, and BattleMail—offer minimal amusement.

The phone's functionality is further supported by basic utilities such as a clock, an alarm, and SMS capabilities, but it misses out on more advanced features, including a web browser beyond WAP 1.2 and no support for Java applications. Predictive text input aids in composing messages, a handy feature at the time of its release.
