Network and Connectivity
The Siemens C65 supports GSM technology, compatible with 2G bands, specifically GSM 900/1800/1900, with an additional variant, the Siemens C66, supporting GSM 850/1800/1900. These bands facilitated basic voice communication and texting across many regions worldwide. The handset includes GPRS Class 10 for data services, which was relatively standard for basic internet connectivity at the time but lacks support for EDGE, meaning limited data speeds. While it does not feature advanced connectivity options like WLAN or Bluetooth, the inclusion of an infrared port provides a basic way to transfer data wirelessly between compatible devices.
