At a glance, the Siemens CF62 boasts a minimalist and practical design. Its body dimensions, measuring 82 x 45 x 22 mm, and its lightweight of 85 grams make it easily portable and comfortable to hold. The clamshell design, common for many phones of its period, adds to its retro aesthetic. It features a primary CSTN display that supports 65K colors with a resolution of 130 x 130 pixels, which is sufficient for basic tasks such as calling and messaging. An additional external monochrome display is included, which is blue-illuminated and useful for viewing notifications without opening the phone.
