For audio, the CX65 offers a loudspeaker but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, relying instead on proprietary connections for audio accessories. Alert modes include vibration and downloadable polyphonic ringtones, which were customizable to some extent. In terms of connectivity, the phone operates on a tri-band GSM network and supports GPRS for data, yet it does not support EDGE or any more advanced options such as 3G or Wi-Fi. The absence of Bluetooth and GPS might have been a downside, but the inclusion of an infrared port was a plus, offering basic wireless data exchange.
