Connectivity options on the Siemens MC60 are minimal, as it was built for the GSM 2G networks covering 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz bands, and supports GPRS Class 8 for basic data transfer. It lacks advanced features such as EDGE, WLAN, and Bluetooth, marking it as primarily a device for calls and simple messaging.
Despite its simplicity, you'll find messaging capabilities including SMS, EMS, MMS, and Email which were quite robust for the time. The inclusion of a WAP 1.2.1 browser also allowed for rudimentary mobile internet access. Other features such as a clock, alarm, games, Java support, and predictive text input rounded off its utility.
