Network and Connectivity
The SG75 was designed to operate on GSM networks with 900, 1800, and 1900 frequencies, as well as the UMTS 2100 band for 3G connectivity, promising faster data speeds up to 384 kbps. At the time, this was significant as it indicated Siemens’ commitment to adapting to evolving network technologies. Although the phone featured Bluetooth, it lacked WLAN, GPS, and radio capabilities, which were seen less frequently in phones during that period. USB connectivity via a proprietary port allowed for basic data transfer and charging functionalities.
