Supporting GSM and HSPA network technologies, the C905 was built to facilitate voice and data communication across 2G and 3G bands. Despite speed limitations—maxed at 3.6 Mbps on HSPA—the phone served the web-browsing and multimedia needs of its time fairly well with its NetFront browser. Although it can't compete with today's smartphones for internet speed, its capacity for email, SMS, MMS, and instant messaging solidified its role as a robust communication tool.
