Memory and Storage
The Sony Ericsson J230 features limited internal memory with 500 KB available for storage, sufficient for basic tasks such as phonebook entries and messages. It does not support external memory cards, so storage is strictly confined to its internal limits. Users could store up to 200 contacts in the phonebook and keep a record of 10 dialed, 20 received, and missed calls. This constrained storage capacity required users to be deliberate in managing their data, a stark contrast to current standards of gigabyte-level storage.
