Design and Display
The Sony Ericsson R306 inherits the classic clamshell design characterizing many phones of its time. Its dimensions, 90 x 47.9 x 15.8 mm, and weight of 93g make it a compact and lightweight device that fits comfortably into a pocket or purse. Despite its small stature, it exudes durability and ease of use. The internal display is a 1.9-inch TFT screen capable of displaying 65K colors with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. This results in a pixel density of roughly 108 ppi, not remarkable by modern standards but adequate for basic use. It also features a unique monochrome external display (96x32 pixels), providing basic information without needing to open the phone.
