Connectivity and Sound
When it comes to connectivity, the T230 is limited by today’s standards, supporting only GSM 900/1800 MHz bands. Lacking EDGE, Bluetooth, WLAN, and USB capabilities, the device was clearly aimed at a user base with basic needs. The phone does have GPRS Class 4 for minimal data needs. Likewise, the sound features are basic, without a loudspeaker or 3.5mm audio jack, though it supports downloadable polyphonic ringtones and the ability to assign them to specific contacts in the phonebook.
