Sony Ericsson W302 Performance and Connectivity

Performance and Connectivity

The W302 operates on the GSM network, supporting 2G bands across GSM 850, 900, 1800, and 1900. This makes it globally operable in areas with GSM coverage. With GPRS and EDGE Class 10 support, users could access basic internet services, though browsing was slow compared to contemporary standards. The phone’s internal memory of 20MB was quite limited; however, it could be expanded to 4GB using a Memory Stick Micro (M2), which was generous for storing music, the phone's standout feature.

Even though the W302 does not boast Wi-Fi capabilities, it provides Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for wireless audio streaming, a critical feature for its role as a music device. Admirably, the phone includes a stereo FM radio with RDS functionality, enhancing its appeal to radio listeners.
