The W700 was built for straightforward performance thanks to its internal storage of 34MB and the support for Memory Stick Duo Pro cards up to 4GB, which was substantial given its primary role as a music player phone. This allowed users to store a wide collection of music files alongside a variety of other content. The phonebook could handle 500 entries, each with up to 20 fields, and offered photo call capabilities. Users had access to a memory of the last 30 calls for dialed, received, and missed calls, facilitating easy communication tracking.
