Performance and Software
Internally, the phone had 16 MB of storage, which was quite limited by today’s standards; however, this was somewhat mitigated by the inclusion of a 1 GB Memory Stick Micro card, with support for up to 4 GB. This allowed users to store a fair collection of music and pictures. The W880 ran basic software that supported SMS, MMS, email, and instant messaging, catering to the communication needs of the day. The inclusion of Java MIDP 2.0 also enabled users to enjoy various downloadable games and applications.
