The Xperia Mini Pro runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system, with upgradability to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), though not to the more advanced 4.1 (Jelly Bean). At its core, the phone houses a 1.0 GHz Scorpion CPU on the Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon S2 chipset, with an Adreno 205 GPU. Combined with 512MB of RAM, performance is adequate for tasks such as email, web browsing, and light applications. The internal storage is limited at 400MB, but the inclusion of a microSDHC card slot with a 2GB card included allows for storage expansion, which was quite necessary for users managing their media and apps.
