Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

At its core, the Xperia X2 was powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200A chipset with a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU and an Adreno 130 GPU. While not groundbreaking, this setup provided competent performance for the device's applications and tasks. The phone came with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, which was consistent with the market’s expectations in that era, but somewhat limiting by contemporary multitasking standards. Out-of-the-box storage of 110MB could be extended using a microSDHC card, thanks to the dedicated slot. The phone, running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5, gave users access to a suite of business and productivity apps, enough for email, document handling, and task management.
