The Sony Ericsson Z200 had a distinctive clamshell design, which was quite popular at the time. At dimensions of 96 x 52 x 25 mm and a weight of 98 grams, it was compact and portable, fitting easily into pockets or small bags. The Z200 supported a Mini-SIM card and was constructed with the durability one might expect from phones of its era. This model was available in four aesthetically pleasing colors: Velvet Blue, Cosmo Silver, Frosty White, and Pulse Red, offering some personalization options to consumers. The absence of a loudspeaker and 3.5mm audio jack highlighted its focus on basic phone functions rather than audio entertainment.
