Sound and Connectivity
The phone delivers sound through a loudspeaker and supports various alert types, including vibration and downloadable polyphonic, MP3, and AAC ringtones, thanks to its built-in composer. Unfortunately, there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack, adhering to its proprietary nature.
In terms of connectivity, the Z550 offers basic yet essential features. It supports GSM networks with GPRS Class 10 but lacks EDGE, WLAN, and GPS capabilities. Bluetooth is available for wireless transfers, and it includes a proprietary USB connection for wired data exchange. The device also comes with a stereo FM radio with RDS, which provided entertainment without the need for data usage.
