Design and Build
At first glance, the Z700 was compact and relatively lightweight, weighing just 95 grams and measuring 91 x 50 x 24 mm. Its dimensions ensured it was pocket-friendly, catering to the consumer demand for portable and convenient devices. The phone was designed to accommodate a Mini-SIM and sported an STN display capable of rendering 256 colors—common for phones of its time—though it did not offer the vibrant displays we see today. The innovative Advanced Jog Dial, a 5-directional control mechanism, was a notable feature, offering intuitive navigation through its user interface.
