The Xperia Z5 Premium features a 23 MP rear camera with a wide f/2.0 aperture, enabling detailed and dynamic photos. It supports phase detection autofocus and comes equipped with an LED flash, HDR, and panorama features. The camera's video capabilities are substantial, supporting 4K video at 30fps and slow-motion capture at 720p@120fps. The front-facing 5.1 MP camera serves well for selfies and video calls, also supporting 1080p video. The overall photo and video quality were commendable, although not without competition from other flagship models available at the time.
