Platform and Performance
The phone runs on the Android 1.5 Cupcake operating system, enhanced by HTC's Sense UI which introduced additional interface changes and widgets. Powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200A chipset with a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU and an Adreno 130 GPU, the device's performance suited general tasks like web browsing and multimedia playback at the time of its release. However, with only 288MB of RAM, multitasking was quite limited, especially with more demanding applications.
