T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Edition Performance

Performance

Powered by an antiquated Qualcomm MSM7201A chipset, a 528 MHz ARM 11 processor, and an Adreno 130 GPU, the myTouch 3G Fender Edition's performance was limited, even by 2010 standards. The inclusion of only 192MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage wasn't generous, but it was fairly typical for Android smartphones of that era. Users could somewhat mitigate the storage limitations with a microSDHC card slot, which conveniently came with a 16GB card pre-installed. The device launched with Android 1.6 (Donut) and offered an upgrade path to Android 2.2 (Froyo), which provided improvements in performance and functionality, including added hotspot capabilities.
