Design and Build
The design of the Sidekick 3 is perhaps its most iconic feature, boasting a body measuring 130 x 59 x 22 mm and weighing in at 190 grams. This weight was a standard characteristic for handsets of the time that included a hardware keyboard. The device featured a full QWERTY keyboard, revealed by its signature swivel screen, which made it exceptionally convenient for typing long messages and emails. This physical keyboard was quite attractive for heavy texters, providing tactile feedback that touchscreen keyboards of that era could not match.
