In the camera department, the Sidekick LX 2009 is equipped with a single 3.15-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash, allowing for photos in low-light conditions. While the camera lacks features seen in contemporary devices, it was adequate for casual photography and video recording at its launch. There is no front-facing camera, which aligns with the device's focus on messaging rather than imaging.
