Operating on GSM 2G bands, the Vairy Text II provides basic cellular connectivity, alongside GPRS and EDGE for mobile data, albeit at slower speeds that are representative of its era. Remarkably, it includes Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11 b/g), allowing users to browse the Internet and access emails without relying solely on mobile data. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support is available for wireless file transfers and compatible accessories, though its absence of GPS limits its location-based functionality.
