Display
The Vibe E200 features a 2.8-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, delivering 256K colors. With a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and a 5:3 aspect ratio, the display offers modest visual clarity, with a pixel density of approximately 167 ppi. While this may seem limited by today’s standards, it was adequate for basic tasks such as browsing through contacts or reading messages at the time of release. The resistive nature of the screen means it was designed for stylus or pressured finger input, rather than capacitive touch, which was emerging as a standard for smartphones around that period.
