Performance
Under the hood, the TCL NxtPaper 10s runs on Android 11, which provides a fairly up-to-date software environment for apps and security features. It is powered by a MediaTek MT8768 chipset paired with an octa-core CPU, consisting of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5 GHz. This configuration is designed for moderate multitasking and is well-suited for everyday tasks such as streaming, web browsing, and light productivity work. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU complements this setup, handling graphic tasks adequately, although it may struggle with high-end gaming. The tablet includes 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM; while the storage may seem modest, expansion through a microSDXC card offers flexibility to accommodate additional files and media.
