Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 8P is powered by either the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset for version 1, or the Helio P22 for version 2. The Helio G70, paired with an octa-core CPU consisting of 2 high-performance Cortex-A75 cores and 6 Cortex-A55 cores, provides decent performance for its class, suitable for basic multitasking and light gaming. On the other hand, the Helio P22 offers a slightly less powerful setup but still delivers adequate performance for everyday apps and social media browsing. Both variations come with 4GB of RAM and multiple storage options, ranging from 64GB to 256GB, all of which support expansion via a dedicated microSDXC slot.
