While the Telit t250 does not feature any advanced sensors, it supports messaging through SMS, EMS, and MMS, covering the primary texting formats of the time. The presence of a WAP 2.0 browser and support for Java (MIDP 2.0) indicates that the phone could, in theory, handle basic web access and run simple Java-based applications. Its eZi text input feature would have been a useful addition for quick and efficient typing on a numeric keypad.
