Performance and Software
Toshiba equipped the Excite AT200 with a TI OMAP 4430 chipset, a dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU, and PowerVR SGX540 GPU, which, at the time, delivered solid performance for standard tasks and multimedia consumption. Running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb, it offered a user interface tailored for tablets, though it was an OS that was quickly overshadowed by later versions of Android. With 1GB of RAM and storage options of either 16GB or 32GB, the device provided decent multitasking capabilities and storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDHC slot.
