Under the hood, the G500 is powered by a 32-bit Intel XScale PXA270 processor clocked at 312 MHz. Coupled with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, the device provides a functional, if limited, multitasking experience. The phone supports basic productivity applications like Pocket Office, allowing users to handle Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on a miniSD-expandable internal storage of 64MB. While the operating system might feel antiquated today, it was relatively advanced for the mid-2000s.
