Under the hood, the TG01 was powered by the Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon S1 chipset, featuring a 1.0 GHz Scorpion CPU and an Adreno 200 GPU. This made it one of the first smartphones to break the 1 GHz barrier, promising fast processing speeds for its time. It ran on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, with an option to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. The OS provided a robust suite of mobile office and productivity tools, significant for business users. However, the limited 256MB RAM could pose multitasking challenges, affecting the overall fluidity.
