Under the hood, the Umidigi G5 Tab runs on the Android 13 operating system, promising access to the latest Android features and improvements in user interface. The device is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset, built on a 12 nm architecture, which is paired with an octa-core CPU comprising two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at the same speed. This setup is further complemented by the Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. While not designed for heavy gaming or resource-intensive applications, it handles everyday tasks and typical multimedia applications with ease.
