Performance and Software
The verykool s5518 Maverick is powered by a Mediatek MT6582M chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. While this hardware was modest, it was sufficient for basic tasks such as browsing, social media, and light gaming. Initially launched with Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), it can be upgraded to Android 5.0 (Lollipop), offering users access to some newer features and improved app compatibility.
With only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it was not equipped for heavy multitasking or running resource-intensive apps. However, the addition of a microSD card slot allowed users to expand storage, which was necessary for those needing more space for photos, music, or additional apps.
