Under the hood, the iQOO Z7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset fabricated on a 6 nm process. It features an octa-core CPU configuration, including a high-performance 2.7 GHz Cortex-A78 core, supported by three more Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz for less demanding tasks. The GPU is the Adreno 642L, which should deliver smooth graphics performance for gaming and video playback.
The phone runs on the latest Android 13 OS overlaid with vivo’s OriginOS 3, providing a customizable and user-friendly interface. There are several options for internal storage and RAM: 128GB with 8GB RAM, 256GB with 8GB RAM, and a high-performance variant with 256GB of internal storage coupled with 12GB of RAM, all utilizing UFS 2.2 technology for faster data transfer rates. However, the lack of expandable storage via an SD card might be a limitation for some users.
