With a single 1.3 MP camera, the VK1500 fell into the standard range for mobile cameras at the time. It was adequate for basic photography, but with no video recording capabilities or a selfie camera, its use was limited mostly to casual snapshots. Multimedia capabilities included an MP3/AAC player, supporting music playback to serve the growing mobile music trend. However, the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack meant users might have needed proprietary accessories for personal audio enjoyment.
