Performance and Software
Powered by Xiaomi's own Surge S2 chipset, the Mi 6c was equipped with an octa-core processor split between four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz for high-performance tasks and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.8 GHz for efficiency. The Mali-G71 MP12 GPU supported graphic-intensive tasks, providing satisfactory performance for gaming and multimedia. Available in two configurations, 64GB storage with 4GB RAM or 128GB storage with 6GB RAM, the Mi 6c offered ample space and memory but lacked an expandable storage option which could have limited users looking to store large amounts of data. It ran on Android 7.1 Nougat coupled with MIUI 9, offering a customized Android experience with additional features and optimizations.
