The dual-camera setup might not have been groundbreaking, but the intended 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture promised capable photography performance under favorable lighting conditions. Features such as PDAF, HDR, and panorama were aimed at enhancing the photographing experience. Video capabilities allowed for 1080p recording at 30fps. The 5 MP front-facing camera targeted basic selfie needs and also supported 1080p video capture. This camera configuration was clearly targeted at users looking for satisfactory casual photography options.
